Domain Names
Alpha Creative can register domain names on behalf of our customers. If Alpha Creative registers a domain name, the customer will be the legal owner of the domain name. If the domain name you request is unavailable Alpha Creative will help you find a suitable replacement.
Domain names registered by Alpha Creative are usually registered for a period of 2 years. The customer will be sent a reminder 30 days before the domain name expires with full details on how to renew their domain name.
If the domain name is registered by a company other than Alpha Creative, the customer has full responsibility in making sure that the domain name is renewed when due and no reminder will be issued by Alpha Creative before the domain name expires.
Web Hosting
The customer agrees to pay all charges for their use of our hosting services at the beginning of their hosting period. The customer will be sent a reminder 7 days before the web hosting expires with full details on how to renew their web hosting service. Alpha Creative advise that we can only guarantee 99.99% website reliability, In the very unlikely circumstance that a clients website suffers down time, most likely caused by higher than expected web traffic, Alpha Creative cannot accept any liability for this, and it is highly likely that the clients website will only be unavailable for a very short period of time.
Alpha Creative reserve the right to suspend any website where the web hosting has expired and the customer has not paid the renewal fee. Renewal of Alpha Creative’s Web Hosting is payable annually. The date of renewal will be 1 year from the date the website was published to the Internet.
Email Hosting
Upon allowing Alpha Creative to host their email accounts, the client accepts that Alpha Creative are not directly responsible for any technical issues that arise with their email accounts, if a problem occurs the client must get in touch with Alpha Creative, an Alpha Creative will do everything they can to ensure a swift solution to the issue, Alpha Creative will not accept any liability for any issue with a clients email package.
Our free email hosting package includes 100mb of storage space. We do not accept any liability of any issues with a clients mailbox if the mailbox limit is reached. We can offer email package upgrades with storage space of up to 5gb.
Technical Support
Alpha Creative will offer a swift solution to any technical problem that may arise, Alpha Creative will not accept any liability for any technical problem, in the unlikely circumstances that one does occur.
Quotations
All quotations issued by Alpha Creative are valid for a period of 30 days after which Alpha Creative reserves the right to re-quote.
Payments For Website Design Services
Alpha Creative accepts payments by BACS, debit / credit or cheque. Payment terms are strictly 30 days except payments for domain name and web hosting renewals which must be paid for in advance.
Website Copy
Alpha Creative are not responsible for proof reading content for websites. If the customer cannot write suitable copy for the website then Alpha Creative will create copy for the website, once the full cost of the website has been paid the customer accepts that they are happy with the content and has no right to request any changes for free.
Website Content Ownership
The customer will own the copyright to the website contents including text copy, photos, graphics and logo after the website has been paid for in full.
Logo Design
Alpha Creative can design a logo for the customer for use on their website. Upon project completion the customer can request a digital copy of the logo for offline use – for example the customer may want to use the logo on their letterheads, business cards, brochures etc.
Termination
Alpha Creative expressly reserves the right to terminate or suspend the customer’s account without prior notice should the customer fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions or fail to pay an invoice in full as in the stated payment terms as displayed on the invoice or should Alpha Creative deem such action necessary to protect Alpha Creative and in such circumstances Alpha Creative will confirm such termination or suspension by subsequent notice.
Exclusion of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law Alpha Creative excludes liability for any loss, claim, damages or any special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages (whether directly or indirectly incurred) of any kind arising out of or in connection with any visitor’s or user’s access to, or use of our website, any material within our website, our services, whether based in contract, tort or whether negligent or otherwise, even if Alpha Creative has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
